Lawson-Hale Wedding

Jay and Cindy Lawson and Cliff and Susan Brown of Temple, Texas are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter Tabitha Ashley Lawson to Heath Parker Hale. The grooms parents are Tommy and Robin Hale of Harker Heights, Texas.

The couple were married on August 6th, 2012 at Pedregal Beach, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The couple eloped just the two of them barefoot on the beach.

Their reception will be for family and friends and is being held on Friday, October 26 at Cathedral Oaks in Belton.

The bride works as Creative Director for Rocca Productions and the groom works as Sales Manager for Alliance Auto.

The couple will make their home in Austin Texas, congratulations to the happy couple.

Zambrano-Gries Wedding

Lori Anne Baker of Austin, Texas and Michael James Forsyth of  Virginia Beach, Virginia are happy to announce the wedding of their daughter Anna Marie Zambrano of Copperas Cove, Texas to Jared Edward Gries of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania on June 30th, 2012. The groom’s parents are Clayton Edward and Lisa Kaye Gries of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.

The couple was married at Genetti Manor in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, the wedding was performed by Reverend Claude Walraven. The bride was given away by her brother Michael Joel Forsyth.

The wedding party consisted of bridesmaids Katherine Johnson of Killeen, Texas, Evelyn Forsyth of Austin, Texas, Belynda Gries of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, Aubrey Davis of Taylor, Pennsylvania
and Kristen Knopp of Berwick, Pennsylvania The flower girls were the groom’s nieces, Payton & Laycee Knopp of Berwick, PA and the ring bearer was the bride’s nephew, Zachary Johnson of Killeen, Texas.

The groomsmen consisted of: Richard Williams of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Daniel Zambrano of Montgomery, Illinois, Matthew Zambrano of Montgomery, Illinois, Joseph Zambrano of North Aurora, Illinois and Joshua Zambrano of Montgomery, Illinois. The wedding reception was held at Genetti Manor in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, where entertainment was provided by DJ Charles Colarusso.

The bride graduated from Copperas Cove High School and attended Central Texas College. Currently she works for Acosta Sales & Marketing. The bridegroom graduated from Abington Heights High School in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He enlisted as active duty in the U.S. Army from 2007-2010 and was deployed to Afghanistan from 2008-2009. He currently works at Kane Warehouse in Taylor, Pennsylvania.

The happy couple reside in Blakely, Pennsylvania. Congratulations!

 

 

 

 

Kiefer-Torres Wedding

Joseph Antonio Torres, of Killeen, & Cassandra Elizabeth Kiefer, of Harker Heights, were wed Saturday, August 11th, 2012 at Boulder Springs in New Braunfels, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s uncle David C. Rose of LaQuinta, California.

The bride was given away by her father Col. Michael L. Kiefer of the United States Army. The bride wore a custom gown in the mermaid/trumpet style with a custom crystal & satin waist sash while the bridesmaids wore yellow with grey accents. The groom wore a traditional  black tuxedo while the groomsmen wore grey tuxedos with yellow accents. The flower girl was the groom’s niece Madison Riley Bannister, of Killeen.

The bride graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelors of Science in Family & Consumer Science. The groom graduated from Ellison High School and is currently serving in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class.

The couple currently reside in Ramstein, Germany.

Sutton-Hanna Wedding July 14, 2012

Rebecca Lynn Sutton of Harker Heights Texas and Michael Scott Hanna of El Paso Texas were united in marriage on July 14, 2012. The minister of the Salado Church of Christ, Joe Keyes, officiated.

The bride  graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in visual art studies. She is employed by Canutillo ISD.

The groom is a graduate of Belton High School and is in the US Army serving in the Air Defense Artillery Branch at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas.

The bride wore a white cotton organza A-line Galina gown with sweetheart neckline, floral sash, pick-up tucks and chapel train. She also wore both a headpiece of  lavender hydrangeas and a veil edged with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of lavender hydrangeas.

Her father presented her in marriage. The maid of honor, Hannah Brown of Killeen, wore a lavender organza sundress. The best man was Eric Belcher of Austin. Lyric Sutton, niece of the bride, was the flower girl, and Patrick Hanna, brother of the groom, served as ring bearer.

Following the ceremony the birde’s parents hosted a reception in Salado. The couple will make their home in El Paso, Texas.

Cintron-Garner Wedding

Cintron-Garner Couple exchanged vows in Vegas. Michelle Cintron and Lance Garner, both of Copperas Cove, exchanged wedding vows in a June 22, 2012, evening ceremony at Sunset Gardens in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pastor Larry J. Pauli officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mary Cintron and the late Victor Cintron Jr. She is the granddaughter of Liduvina Llera and the late Jose Lera of Chicago, Ill. The groom is the son of Lee and Kim Garner of Kempner, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allison of Lampasas County, and Jimmie Garner and the late Winola Garner of Bertram.

A wedding gabezo was featured in the courtyard. Trees were decorated with twinkling lights, and there were arrangements of fresh roses in shades of pink. The gazebo was finished with white curtains and pink bows. Titus Mastrangelo, brother of the bride of Chicago, Ill., gave his sister in marriage. The bride wore a strapless lace trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline. It featured a shirred tulle bodice that swept into a train. Her elbow-length single-tier veil was covered in pearls and crystals. An embellished comb in her hair also had crystals and pearls.

To complement her gown, the bride carried a hand-tied bouquet with ivory roses, pale-pink calla lilies and stephanotis with pink crystals in the center. It was wrapped in ivory with black pins. Bridesmaids were Breanne Garner, sister-in-law of the bride, of Anderson County; Natasha Mastrangelo, sister-in-law of the bride, of Chicago; and Jessica Pechak, the groom’s cousin, of Lampasas County. Attendants wore black satin one-shoulder dresses with a bow detail and a rouched empire waist. They carried hand-tied bouquets of light-pink roses and hot-pink gerbera daisies tied with pink satin wrap and black pins.Groomsmen were Grant Garner, brother of the groom, of Anderson County; Brent Garner, the groom’s brother, of Midland; and Chad Pechak, cousin of the groom, of Lampasas. Ushers were Tom Beato of Killeen, and C.J. Bryant of Austin.

Following the ceremony, a dinner was held. A dance with a disc jockey was part of the festivities. Round tables were covered in black tablecloths embellished with black-and-white runners.
Chairs were covered with white cloth and tied with large pink satin bows. Crystal bowls with floating candles and flowers served as table centerpieces. The four-tiered wedding cake featured the bottom layer covered in chocolate and crystals. A third layer was covered in chocolate with pink embellishments and crystals at the base.The cake’s second layer was covered in white fondant with a chocolate band around it, centered with a pink flower. The top layer was in pink fondant with chocolate touches, topped with a crystal “G.”

The couple spent several days after their wedding in Las Vegas. They are at home in Copperas Cove.The bride earned a bachelor of business administration degree in business management from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christie. She is a property manager for Hattaway Properties. The groom graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. He is a teacher and coach at Lampasas Middle School. A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

Pangelinan- Miles Wedding

Kieshana  Joan Indalecio Pangelinan and Dominic Quinn Miles Sr. were married July 28th, 2012, at the 1st Calvary Division Memorial Chapel on Fort Hood,  Texas. The Reverend Chaplain John Teitman performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Patrick and Mrs. Corinne Ganacias of Killeen Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. Gary Miles Sr. and Ms. Barbara Miles of Copperas Cove, Texas. The bride wore an ivory and white Maggie Sottero  gown, with a fitted silhouette that was embellished in corded lace combined with draping layers of fluted tulle that created a flared A-line skirt. Handmade flowers were gently placed throughout the slender bodice with a dipped neckline, corset closure and featured Swarovski crystals. She also wore a lace and pearl edged fingertip veil and carried a tear drop bouquet of purple orchids, mini calla lilies and white flowers with diamond accents.

Presented in marriage by her father and mother, the bride was attended by her closest friend, Cristina Martinez Dessus, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Tamika Fuimaono, Ms. Elisha Sarrosa and Ms. Rowena Sarrosa of Killeen, Texas. Mr. Antonio Caro of Copperas Cove, Texas was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Gary Miles Jr., Mr. Michael Rhymes Usherettes were Ms. Dominique P. Mendiola of Asan, Guam and Ms. Chelsea P. Kerber of  Bonney Lake, Washington. Brianna Jean Miles was the flower girl and Dominic Quinn Miles II was the ring bearer; both of Copperas Cove and children of Kieshana and Dominic.

Following the ceremony a beautiful reception was held  by the brides parents at The Shilo Inn Suites Ballroom, in Killeen, Texas. The newlyweds will honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica this month.

Daniell-Bowling Wedding

Dian Daniell and Matthew David Bowling were wed on June 23rd, in an outdoor ceremony at Cathedral Oaks in Belton. Melanie is the daughter of Jeff and Cristy
Daniell of Florence. Matt is the son of Elfie and Dudley Black of Killeen and Talihina, Oklahoma, and David and Jerrie Bowling of Dawsonville, Georgia.

The bride wore a pewter satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, and a beaded lace overlay embellished with soutache detailing. She wore a lace-edged fingertip veil, and carried a bouquet of hydrangea, ranunculus, mums, roses and lisianthus, in shades of peach, pink and cream. Lindsay Brizendine was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Lindsey Applequist, Mandy Hosman, Amber Krause, Amanda Edwards, Kristen Clark, Chelsea Pacheco and Bethanne Lee. The bride’s mother made the bridesmaids’ dresses. The halter-style sundresses featured a fitted bodice and crinoline skirting, and each was made in a different pastel rose-patterned fabric. The best man was Randy Stevens, and groomsmen were Derek Brizendine, Jacob Rhoades, Chris Lee, Sonny Dixon and Cole Parker. Flower girls were Jordan Daniell and Lilly Gower, and Grayson Daniell served as the ring bearer. Pastor Darren Walker of the First United Methodist Church of Belton officiated the ceremony.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Roland and Carla Rutledge Schaub, who sang Cory Morrow’s “Always and Forever”. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception, dinner, and dance.

Melanie graduated with honors from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor with a BA in Education, and is an elementary teacher at Florence ISD. Matt manages his family’s automotive business in Killeen. The couple will make their home near the Lampasas River in Maxdale, Texas.

Shoemo – Johnson Wedding

Julie Renee Shoemo and Michael Melvin Johnson, both of Copperas Cove, were united in marriage June 8, 2012 in Belton.

The bride is the daughter of Begonia Mayreis of Killeen and the late Michael Mayreis. The groom is the son of Ralph Johnson and Gertrude Johnson of Atlanta, Ga.

Daye – Gaines Wedding

Lori Daye and Robert Leon Gaines, both of Killeen, were united in marriage March 6, 2012 in a private ceremony held at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, Nev.

The bride is the daughter of Sara Holt of Killeen and is employed as a Systems Administrator at North Fort Hood. The groom is the son of the late Gladys Nell Batson Gates and is the Operations Assistant Officer at North Fort Hood.

The couple held an evening reception June 2, 2012 for their family and friends.

Latham – Bowers Wedding

Patricia Latham and Brent Bowers were united in marriage May 25, 2012 at their home in Copperas Cove. Mrs. Bowers is the daughter of Edward Rice and the late Mary Lou Rice of Deer Park, Wash. Mr. Bowers is the son of Dorothy Bowers and the late Perry C. Bowers of Mt. Pleasant.

Mrs. Bowers works as a certified optician at the Wal-Mart Vision Center in Copperas Cove. Mr. Bowers works at Reynolds Customer Products in Temple.

The Rev. Carl Dawson of Copperas Cove officiated, and Roberta Schmidt of Temple, best friend of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Perry P. Bowers of Mt. Pleasant, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Chad Latham of Bedford, son of the bride, gave his mother away.

The couple went on a honeymoon trip to San Antonio and Sea World.
