Kevin and Josie’s Dreamy Destination Wedding in Destin, Florida

Yet, this destination wedding in Destin, Florida, was so touching, we still tear up thinking about it to this day. Kevin and Josie flew in from Michigan to have their beach wedding in Destin, Florida in a simplistic yet highly elegant beach house. Before all the formalities even began, this celebration was filled with emotional moments that touched the hearts of everyone present - us included. Kevin’s mother had passed prior to their Florida wedding, and he wanted to honor her memory and gave Josie his mother’s ring as a gift. But Josie also knew how much his mother meant to him, so with the help of Kevin’s dad, they designed a bow tie out of Kevin’s mother’s old dresses. To this day, we haven’t witnessed a sweeter moment than this one. What’s best is that it seemed that Kevin’s mom was with us on their special day - despite being surrounded by heavy clouds, Kevin and Josie’s destination wedding in Destin, Florida, didn’t see a drop of rain.

After the touching gift exchange, it was time for an equally romantic wedding ceremony. Naturally, Kevin teared up as soon as he saw Josie walking down the aisle, but thanks to their incredibly witty vows, the whole atmosphere lit up with joy and unstoppable laughter. Speaking of, this couple is truly destined for each other since their humor and energy are always in sync! 

After the ceremony, we proceeded to take some mesmerizing shots of their destination wedding in Destin, Florida, behind the orange-kissed sky. The reception unfolded in the pool area of the house, and some guests even replaced their gorgeous wedding attire with a swimsuit and swam the night away. All in all, this was a celebration of love we’ll remember for a lifetime.
